Federal agencies follow Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, not the ADA’s Title II rule, so the April 2027 and April 2028 deadlines don’t apply to them. The Section 508 standards are built on WCAG 2.0 AA; our checks use WCAG 2.1 AA, which includes it.
